Shipping Instructions
- Shipment via express carrier (such as FedEx, UPS, or DHL) is recommended. In addition to being faster, express carriers permit tracking.
- Please label all specimen containers with patient’s name, date of birth and/or ID number.
- We accept specimen deliveries Monday-Saturday for all specimen types. Please notify us at least one day in advance that specimens will be shipped.
- All specimens should be appropriately packaged to avoid crushing, breakage, or leakage and inserted in the commercial packaging available from your selected express carrier.
- Requisition forms MUST accompany all specimens. If specimens for more than one individual are being shipped, please make sure that each specimen and requisition form is clearly marked with the patient’s name.
